Website Ownership Rights

Some web companies retain full ownership rights to your website and domain name, even after you paid for those services. If Kentucky Lake Productions built your website and registered your domain, you will own all the contents of that website, unless otherwise stated in your contract.

Sometimes third-party scrips are necessary to enhance features of your site, such as drop-down menus or slide-show banners. (This is not the same thing as a web design template.) These scripts are usually free licenses but must maintain a copyright notice from the script's author.  If we use a third-party script in your website, we will let you know!
